I'll agree that when they started their set on the DOG show in Oakland I saw you could call it angry w/ as much intensity as one could muster.I reviewed the show before This was the Sat. show where the Dead opened and were ok better than mediocre,but when the Who took the stage at first I thought this was going to be the sloppiest shows ever because John was just leaning on his bank of Sun amps w/ Keith standing on his kit and Rodger and Pete were crashing into one another then once seperated strapped on a Les Paul and blew the place away.They deserved top billing for sure.I know the Who played the exact same show the next day w/ the Dead adjusting nicely and of course altered their show entirely.I did not go to the second show.Someone here said they alternated w/ being openers and headliners and I doubt this but I'm not sure.
